          The experience I worked on Ferdinan Magellan was very interesting. He was the first to cross the Pacific Ocean, like Christopher Columbus being a traveler at sea. Ferdinand Magellan sailed to many places such as Guam and the Philippines. At the time of Ferdinand, war was taken place. When he settled in Guam with other travelers, local villagers demolished his ships. He died at Cebu, Phillipines by war, which was also taken place. Only 18 crew members returned safely home which were the only survivors and the first to cross the Pacific Ocean.

          I would create another website about Abraham Lincoln, because he help manage how America was taken place at his time. He inspires me to never give up in anything. I would also include pictures of the Lincoln bedroom, which is located at the White House. I would like to visit the White House to meet President Barack Obama.

          Me, Rueben, and Trevor researched on theme parks located in Washington. The best park we chose for a family of four is Wild Waves, because it was affordable for the family on budget. It was a water park and a theme park packed together with rides and slides for the family to enjoy.  Based on other theme parks we researched, it was really expensive to go on the theme park. That was why we chose Wild Waves.

         Another reason why we chose Wild Waves was because, the admission fee for Wild Waves were the same prices for adult and children ticket prices. Like if we were to go on a family vacation to Wild Waves and did not have enough money, someone would have to go back home. So always bring enough money for how many people are going to the theme park. That was just a helpful reminder.  That is my conclusion on choosing the best theme park for a family of four.

       The historical figure I chose would be Ferdinand Magellan, because he is the one who sailed across the Pacific. He also discoverd Guam where we are living in this island. He is a famous historical figure which he navigated through the Pacific. He sailed to the Philippines and was killed there. He was the first navigator to travel through the Pacific Ocean.

          Some of the topics discussed in the Anti-Bullying workshop were about the dangers in Cyber-Bullying. What we learned about the dangers in Cyber-Bullying is that we should never post any pictures of ourself in the web. We also should never post any phone numbers, address, passwords, etc. Mr. McDow showed us a slideshow about Anti-Bullying. He talked about how we can stop bullying in our schools.

          The Anti-Bullying and Cyber-Bullying workshop to me was boring. The workshop could be improved by having an air-conditioned gym where we can have our team assembly. We would have more bleachers to sit on so we would not sit in the floor. They can also improve the workshop by having students participate in activities dealing with the workshop. Last, we should have a large theater for teachers to show movies, slideshows, etc.

         What I learned during my Christmas break was that family and friend gatherings are very important to me. I spent time with family. During the holidays, I stayed home with them.  If the family is not home, I would chat with them online to ask them how are they. I spent time with friends. I like going to G3 and using Yahoo Messenger to chat with them. When me and my friends meet, we  like going to the mall.

          Having fun during the holidays is amazing to me. Having a tour around to island with family is fun. We went to beaches. In the beach, we had a picnic. Fun to me is being accompanied with family. We had a party in my house. I also attended a relatives party.

          The steps on how to take good pictures depends on the image you’re taking. There are two ways to take a picture. Horizontal and vertical ways. Watch your background before taking your pictures. Take pictures in the middle of the object/person.

          Press half-way to focus on what you are taking. If you’re alway having trouble with blurred pictures, use a tripod to help keep your camera stay in place. Watch your lighting when you take your pictures. Use a flash connector to help with outdoor lighting fixtures.

     During the 27th to the 31st, it was a week before Halloween that students and teachers could dress down in a specific type of clothing. What I saw during the Halloween events at UMS, I saw students and teachers being dressed up in costumes. Some of the costumes I saw were funny, silly, and scary, I interviewed a student who is a friend to me, named Vince Cortez. He was dressed in a black and red ninja suit that he also wore a Naruto Leaf Village head band. He quoted, “I am a Naruto fan that has an interest in being a ninja.” “I am being dressed as a ninja that I would express to my friends.”

     The activities being celebrated on that day was the dance, parties, fame arcades, etc. What I saw duringthe dance were students singing and dancing to the beat of the music. It was a fun day spending time with friends. There were also parties that were being celebrated in classrooms. The other activities that were celebrated were the game arcades and movies. In the game arcades, you could play video games. In the movies, there are movies being shown to students.

     I was born on October 17, 1994. My most memorable birthday was when I was in the 7th grade. During the day, it was a school day. I went to school and saw my friends greeting me “Happy Birthday!” I was so pleased on that day. My friends wished me a Happy Birthday.

     During the night, me, my friends, and family went to eat at a resturant to celebrate my birthday. I recieved present from my friends and family. I was thankful to them. I had a great time spending time with them. I wished I always had birthdays like that.
